The area is very convenient with plenty of restaurants serving a wide selection of delicacies, convenient stores, laundry services, tour agencies and taxi services. Walk or drive further down and you will find plenty of shops selling souvenirs, more food to choose and eat, night market, fast food restaurants and petrol station.
Spend some time in the evening at the beach, wether a picnic with friends or families, enjoy the water sports activites or just take a stroll along the beach. The sunset are very splendid and breathtaking !
Batu Feringghi is one of the major tourism district in Penang Island with plenty of tourism activities such as water sports, eco tourism, sightseeing and many more. It is also in a short distance to the Spice Garden, "Escape: Theme Park, Fruit Farm, Butterfly Farm and National Park. Batu Feringghi hosts some of the annual major international events such as Penang Beach Carnival and Penang Island Jazz Festival which attracts local and foreign visitors.
Getting Around
My place and Batu Feringghi are very well connected by public transportation. You can choose to ride a rapid transit bus, tourist hop on/off bus, Uber/Grab/Taxis and if you are out at the tourist night market at night, it's best for you to enjoy the colorful trishaw ride.
Georgetown UNESCO Heritage site is just about 40min drive.
Penang International Airport is just about 1hr drive.
