UPDATE FOREST TO SEA CHALLENGE 2019 FOR ALL RUNNERS
The following some updates for all teams and racers to take note and be prepared for:
1) SAFETY & HAZE CONDITION
This event is strongly supported by most local agencies i.e. BOMBA, PDRM, NAVY, APMM, JABATAN LAUT, JABATAN HUTAN, MPM, RELA, APM, POLIS MARIN etc. to ensure the smooth flow and safety of all teams on land and sea, all along the race route and checkpoints.
The haze condition is a concern and we are monitoring the progress very closely. At the moment the weather is improving very quickly and we are hoping to have good race conditions on race day. If the weather deteriorate and jeopardize the safety & health of teams, we will update you the event status immediately.
2) RACE KIT COLLECTION & RACE BRIEFING
The race kit collection will be as follows:
Date : 28th September 2019
Day : Saturday
Time : Race Kit Collection - 2.00 pm until 5.30 pm
: Race Briefing - 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm
Location : Tan Sri Hutson Hall, Outward Bound Malaysia, Lumut.
PLEASE BRING ALONG THE ORIGINAL REGISTRATION FORM & PAYMENT SLIP WHEN COLLECT THE RACE KIT
3) TIMING CHIP DEPOSIT
All racers will be required to wear a timing chip provided by the organizer. This is a mandatory requirement for timing and checkpoint monitoring as well as safety movement.
ALL RACERS HAVE TO DEPOSIT RM 50.00 TO OBTAIN THIS CHIP DURING RACE KIT COLLECTION. DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED AFTER THE RACE UPON RETURNING THIS CHIP.
4) MANDATORY ITEMS
Below are the MANDATORY item checklist which need to be produced before flag off:
a) Emergency whistle
b) Race beep (provided)
c) Timing chip (provided)
d) Water bladder/bottle (2L min.)
