CELEBRATING THE ECONOMIC MOVERS & SHAKERS
Since its establishment in 2004, the Namibian Business Hall of Fame (NBHF) has proudly honoured local entrepreneurs and business leaders who have contributed significantly and consistently toward the socio-economic development of Namibia. These individuals are recognised for their outstanding diligence, ingenuity, excellent leadership qualities, and impactful entrepreneurial acumen in their respective trades and industries, benefitting the country in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). What better way to recognise the generations of inspiring doers and makers than through induction into the prestigious Namibia Business Hall of Fame.
The NBHF is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) initiative by the Global Entrepreneurs Network (GEN) Namibia which aims to celebrate the global impacts of entrepreneurship and encourage the world, especially youth and females to take a leap into the rewarding and thrilling journey of entrepreneurship. GEN has established a global footprint that promotes policies, research, and innovative and developmental programmes which connect a dynamic global network of entrepreneurs towards integrated economic growth.
Significance of the Induction.
The NBHF takes pride in being a noteworthy mediator which recognises the outstanding work undertaken by Namibian entrepreneurs. Being inducted into the NBHF is an honorary achievement taking into consideration the hard work and perseverance which did not go unnoticed. The function of leadership is to produce more leaders and not followers and this honorary accolade is extended to deserving trailblazers, innovators, and business leaders who selflessly continue to inspire generations of leaders to come, through their commitment and perseverance.
Inductees are nominated under the following categories: Laureates, emerging entrepreneurs, and special awards.
Down Memory Lane
Since its inception, the NBHF hosts an esteemed and honourable group of inductees such as Frans Indongo, the current first lady Monica Geingos, and late business patrons such as Harold Pupkewitz and Werner List. All who have achieved outstanding success and upheld the values of entrepreneurship in the community through various measures and accolades. Other such achievers include Laureates;
Mrs. Twapewa Khadikwa, Hon. Tom Alweendo, Dr. Helena Ndume, Ms. Gwen Lister, Mr. Quinton van Rooyen jr., Mr. Sidney Martin, Mrs Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun.
Entrepreneurs such as Ms. Alina Josef, Mr. Wiseman Anyala, Ms. Alina Josef, Mr. Jonathan K**k, Ms. Tulonga Neputa, Mr. Ronny Nendongo, and many other proudly Namibian entrepreneurs.

NBHF 2022 Induction
This yearβs laureates will join a distinguished group of extraordinary businessmen and women who have been inducted since 2004. NBHF will not only grant honour and recognition to Namibian entrepreneurs but also to entrepreneurs from Africa including Ghana and South Africa and other African countries who have made a significant contribution to Namibiaβs economic development.
The induction ceremony will take place during the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations on 19 November 2022, at the Safari Court & Conference Centre.
