No matter your condition there is a solution somewhere and we will get it together. OUR VALUES:

Our activities epitomise the universal human values expressed through local and global citizenship - empathy and compassion, respect for community, social justice and equity for all, economic, environmental and social sustainability, and a belief that we can all make a difference
Our work seeks to create and sustain better futures by providing relief from disasters and conflicts, empowering women, fighting hunger, holding governments accountable, fighting HIV & AIDS, and making education accessible.
• HBB works with coalitions of poor and excluded people from around the world, bringing their perspectives to bear on policies that affect developing countries. We bring their voices into the Nigeria and Africa political arena and strengthen domestic support for changes in development policy.
• HBB works to improve the economic and social situation of the people by increasing access to income-generating activities and by providing required training to manage their activities
• Poverty is our problem. But we are hopeful. Our optimism comes from the people we work with every day. They are making change in spite of the odds they face. They are an inspiration. Together, we will end poverty once and for all.
• HBB work in partnership with communities and government, works to prevent and relieve poverty, combat distress and alleviate suffering in any part of the world regardless of race, gender, creed or political convictions
• Local access to water prohibits many children, particularly girls, from attending school as they must fetch water miles away. HBB’s Priority Project will build water and sanitation facilities for schools and communities
• To address these core themes, HBB provides solid research, targeted outreach, and timely advocacy activities, both to inform the Nigeria and International public and to build solidarity with poor and excluded people seeking to exercise their rights and assume greater control over their lives.
• HBB addresses the health and well-being of people, animals, and the planet. In Nigeria and any part of the world regardless of race, gender, creed or political convictions
• We listen to and learn from poor people to identify and help them fulfill their own needs, encouraging them to lobby decision-makers in their own countries, and campaigning and calling for change from those who hold power on the international stage.
