Who is a Digital Nomad?
A Digital Nomad is an individual capable of carrying out their job remotely from any location across the globe.
For Digital Nomads aspiring to reside in Canada for up to 6 months
under the visitor visa category:
Applications for Digital Nomads are made under the visitor visa category. All that's required is visitor status, which allows them to continue their remote work activities.
This status permits them to work remotely for their employer outside of Canada, search for jobs with Canadian employers, and even attend interviews in-person within Canada.
However, it is important to note that Digital Nomads under the visitor visa category cannot work for a local employer until they change their visitor visa status to work permit.

They have the option to apply for a temporary work permit once they've secured a job offer from a Canadian employer or apply for Permanent Residency.
