This monday our team enjoyed a day at the bakery of Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam North. This state-of-the-art and one-of-a-kind sports centre for people with disabilities is not just a refuge for athletes but also houses friends at work, an in-house daycare project for youngsters between 16 and 25 years old with various disabilities. Our team joined forces with some of them and worked on their baking (and sampling) skills. Further, we reconnected with the fantastic MICE possibilities in the centre, which can be combined with an active part with loads of (paralympic) clinics. It is truly a unique place that we'd love to tell you more about.

This time of year we're on the receiving end of some fabulous Christmas presents from partners we work with. A few years ago this led to an annually returning and much anticipated Christmas raffle. This morning our team gathered and through the magic of our official PT tombola bowl (which serves as saladbowl outside its official duty) divided the gifts.

Today we had the chance to reconnect with local Amsterdam based boutique hotel chain .hotels. We checked out 3 different hotel properties varying in size from 50 to 80 rooms. All 3 with a distinct character and own style. And all 3 located in Amsterdam's city centre. We suggest to not overlook local hotelchains when sourcing venues for your next event or simply contact a local DMC partner for a fresh set of ideas next time around!

Today marks national tulip day, the start of the tulip season. From today onwards on sale everywhere again. Normally over 200.000 tulips are placed in the centre of Amsterdam for free picking to celebrate National Tulip Day, due to covid this is restricted in 2022’s edition. Nevertheless, cheers to the 🌷 on this special day.

Yesterday we enjoyed our annual x-mas lunch. Currently times are rough for the live events industry, but we remain resilient and positive with a couple of fantastic months in september, october and early november under our belt to prove that there is a demand for live events. It's on to bigger and better in 2022 and from Amsterdam we wish you and your loved ones a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Whilst Daan is holding down the fort in Amsterdam, Maud is on the island of Mauritius conducting a site inspection for an incentive program next year for one of our outbound clients. We’re very busy preparing for an exciting 2022 and remain hopeful we can finally leave covid behind us. Happy weekend from cloudy Amsterdam and sunny Mauritius!
