Last Saturday August 10th this group Easy Walkers visited the water mill of Opwetten, on the border of Eindhoven and Nuenen. Half of the group continued to the Collse water mill. Both were painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1884.

Each year the heath south of Eindhoven turns bright purple (not shown in this picture) that is a must see. You can tell by the happy faces of these Easy Walkers they enjoyed the walk on the heath from Eindhoven to the former stagecoach relay station "de Hut van Mie Pils". This jungle can be found just south of Eindhoven and is part of a new Free Easy Walk that will start in July. On this walk we follow the river Dommel on our way out of the city and return following the river Tongelreep. Just look at this beauty! This picture was taken by Louis Coetzer on a Free Easy Walk near Heeze Castle. This cheeky and fearless creature is a robin that you can spot in your own garden. There used to be a robin at the heide cafe near the sheep pen in Heeze that would jump on your table hunting for crumbs. Something unexpected always happens during a Free Easy Walk.
