Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal moment in World War II that took place on June 6, 1944.
On this historic day, Allied forces began one of the largest sea-to-land attacks in history on the beaches of Normandy, France. This brave action helped free Western Europe from N**i control.
