Lysefjorden365 is proud to sponsor Skifestivalen BLINK! The Lysebotn Opp race, first held in 2010, is a challenging 7.5-kilometer roller ski event, often compared to the legendary Alpe d'Huez climb in the Tour de France. Starting from the ferry dock in Lysebotn, at the end of Lysefjord, the course features 27 hairpin bends and an elevation gain of 640 meters, finishing at Øygardstøl.

Just so you know, the finish line is at Kjerag Parking, and due to the event, the road to Kjerag and Kjerag Parking will be closed from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Wednesday, July 31st. We recommend you plan your Kjerag hike for another day.

Here's what you need to know:

Weather: Sun in the morning with an increasing chance of rain from 1 o'clock on and out the day. The high of about 14°C will be around 12 o'clock, before sinking back to 9° in the evening.

With the expectation of rain, remember a water and wind resistant jacket, as the weather can change quickly. Good hiking boots are a must, especially when the mountain is wet.
