ROYAL YACHT ASSOCIATION (RYA) YACHT TRAINING
Currently, there are only 2 Day Skipper/Competent Crew course available this year:
22-26 Sep and 29 Sep – 3 Oct.
There will also be some additional “Sailing Under an Experienced Skipper” weekends which will not incorporate any formal “training” but will give newly qualified day skippers, and those wishing to attend the formal courses, more experience.
DINGHIES
There is work required at the Madla Boathouse. Therefore, the club is in negotiations with the Stavanger Sailing Club about the use of their facilities for this season only. We have requested a children’s course with them for the week 23-27 June. Further courses will also be available through the Stavanger Sailing Club, for adults and children, throughout the summer. For experienced dinghy sailors (RYA Level 2 or Youth Sage 3 under Adult Supervision), the dinghies in Madla are available to use.
