At Tromsø Budget Tours, we have the ambition to deliver high-quality products to competitive prices. We are a new company, aiming to offer both new concepts off the beaten path, as well as improved variants of classic tours at affordable prices for the budget-conscious traveller. Our guides are certified, resident tour guides, who live and work in Tromsø all year, and who know our magi
cal city inside out. Our tours are individually tailored to suit small groups of up to 15 guests, allowing for feedback and questions to be asked on the way. We are encouraging sustainable tourism by minimizing the need for motorised transport, as well as by supporting other local businesses and sights off the beaten path, that are often forgotten by larger tour operators. Our first product to be launched is Tromsø's first ever beer safari, a unique concept, tailored to the interests of the beer-loving traveller. Starting January 21st 2016, beer enthusiasts will get the opportunity to admire the city centre of Tromsø, located in-between two breweries, sample the local beers and become acquainted with the history of beer in Tromsø, home to the world's northernmost brewery since 1877. This tour is suitable for travellers with an above average interest in history, who are keen to learn more about the curious details of the history of our city and the exotic life in the Norwegian Arctic. The historical city walk will also be our first family-friendly tour, with discounts applicable for children as well as couples and friends – the more people you book for, the cheaper your ticket will get.
