Deshe Maru Jhya, literally meaning "the only one of its kind in the country," is a specimen of Newar architecture dating back hundreds of years. It is a wooden window carved with elaborate artistic details resembling the bellows in an old folding camera, which is set into a house in Naradevi. Such carvings can be found palaces, temples, private residences and sacred houses of Newari Communities.
