Everest Cultural Trail – Trek in the lower Everest.

The 'Everest Dudhkoshi Cultural Trail' in Solukhumbu district of the world's highest peak Everest is a virgin trail.This trail, recently identified in the joint initiative of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality,Tan,and Nepal tourism board is located at the lower part of Mount Everest. Stretching from 940 meters above sea level at Kaya on Dudhkoshi River to the viewpoint of Aran Hill at a height of 3,310 meters, this trail is an excellent trail for all age groups and all seasons who want to experience the himalayas .This trail is a mine of nature and culture where you can see more than one dozen snow peaks, including the highest peak Everest.The dense forests of Lagi gurans (rhododendron) the national flower of Nepal, wild animals, birds, various herbs and plants, beautiful villages, indigenous group of people like, Rai, Sherpa, Tamang and lifestyle of the local community, lifestyle, culture, gumba and temples are the major attractions of this trail.

Everyone wants to see the highest peak in the world, but not everyone can reach it. Elderly and children cannot walk. Although, this trail is targeted for those who cannot reach the base of Mount Everest. This trail is heaven for hikers. You can travel with your family friend or individual.

This is one of easy trek for all kind of age group of people. The major hike places and viewpoint of this area is Silguri Hill, Ratnange Hill, Kudam, Kudam Point, Yotelmya (Bhote Khark), Damfe Bhir, Zhandi Hill, Jaleshwari Mahadev Temple at Jor Dhunga, Sola Forest, Dhje Hill, Aran Hill etc.Before this the only route for Everest Base Camp and others related trek.

How to reach?
One can reach Siliguri hills in one day from Kathmandu driving (approximately 12 hours) You can also go to Solukhumbu's headquarters Salleri by public transport bus or private vehicle. Above that, sumo or . Saleri is around 275 km from Kathmandu. The hill Siliguri is about 20 km bumpy road from Saleri.

Local Belief & New Year Mela: In Salhesh flower garden, which blooms only on 1st Baisakh every year(Nepali new year), wreath-shaped "golden flower" : Flowering on a flower plant is not a strange thing, but it is natural to see a wreath-shaped flower blooming on the same tree only one day every year. . It is a local belief that every year on the first day of the new year, a white flower in the shape of a wreath blooms on the branch of the Haram tree in the middle of the flower garden and the flower fades in the evening. many national and international peoples come there to see the flower, which is believed to have been blooming since the 7th-8th century. There is a temple of King Sahales and Malini of the 6th-7th century near the Haram tree.

The second biggest Nepali festival Yamapanchak or Tihar is starting from today. Crow Tihar(Day) is celebrated on the sunrise day of Kartik Krishna Trayodashi, then Yamdeep is donated on Saturday evening. It is a classical belief that if you donate Yamdeep on the occasion of Yamapanchak, you will be freed from Yamayatana(Devil of death). Similarly, Dhanwantari Jayanti is also celebrated today.

Gosai k***a is located about 130Km north of the Kathmandu valley close to the border with Tibet; with the elevation of 4380 meter. One of the religious site in the high mountain. where we can see 108 lakes in the vicinity.The hindu scriptures like Bhagwat Puran, Vishnu puran ramayan mahabharat samundra manthan which is directly related to the origin of Gosaik***a.
This lake is the origin point of Trishuli River which is one of the biggest river river system of Nepal where we can do white water river rafting.

This religious lake lies in Langtang national park which is most beautiful Nation park in the world with freshwater oligotrophic lake of Nepal.

Swayambhunath temple (Maha Chaitya) with the elevation of 1406m from the sea level located in west of the historical Kathmandu valley. This temple is conversant as one of the oldest temple and holiest place of the monolithic Nepal for all the devotees.

This temple's area is divided into two part called Manjushree Hill and swayambhu hill.
As per the gopalrajvamsavali this temple was founded by the great grand father of Manadev(historic king of Nepal) where we can see different styles like Dom style, shikhara style and Nepali style temple within small premises.

We can found the monuments in swayambhunath complex from the 3rd,4th century to till 20 century.

Beauty has no category, Its one of the most beautiful mountain in the world which located in Central Nepal, northern of Annapurna range with the altitude of 6993m high from sea level rising into the clear blue sky.

The top of the mountain looks like a tail of fish that's why it called fishtail. Gem of the nation. This mountain is famous for a religious purpose, people worship the mountain as a holy land of Lord shiva( creator of the universe).
