Shera Gyaljen,
Ang Pemba,
& Tulsi Gurung.
They are heading to Everest Base Camp for rest and will do the Camp 2 rotation.

Our Sherpa brothers have successfully finished to pitch camp for this season. And our climbers are on the way with our Sirdar Pemba Rita Sherpa towards base camp and our Sherpa are eagerly waiting to conquer Mt. EVEREST as soon as our client reaches base camp.
Every person in our group are physically and mentally doing very well and they all are ready to face whatever comes along the way to summit.

Climbing Mt. Everest may sound expensive but where does all the money GO?

US$12000 plus goes to the government as royalty & other fees.

A big amount is spend on preparing and transporting expedition logistics from Kathmandu to basecamp by truck , airplane, helicopters , porters and Yaks. Besides many other expenses for clients, guides and basecamp staffs.

To be an expedition leader , one doesn’t necessarily have to be breaking and making records. But one who understands the mountain and team makes a great leader.

Co- founder of Kaitu Expedition Nima Tenji Sherpa is amongst the only few certified international mountain guide IFMGA & mountaineering instructor trained in Europe & Nepal. Experience with knowledge does matter.

With over 20 years of experience in the mountaineering field starting his career as a kitchen boy at the age of 14, five first ascent peaks under his belt with 10 Everest summit alone among numerous others complemented by his calm nature and decision making capacity makes him a great leader to climb with for SAFETY & SUCCESS.

In 2021 , Nima did not only climb twice to lead the team but he waited at the South Summit for hours until the whole team descended safely while helping rescue a client from 8700 meters who was exhausted. Often times the job is left to the sherpa assigned resulting in disaster.
A true leader and team player 👏 ✊ 🙏

Once again Nima Tenji will be leading Everest / Lhotse Expedition 2022 🏔 ⛰🙌🙌
