Upper Mustang, often referred to as the "Forbidden Kingdom," which is a remote and culturally significant region located in the north of the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is situated in the rain shadow area of the Himalayas, nestled between the Tibetan Plateau and the high peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
