7 nights 8 days Annapurna Base Camp treks
1st Day: Pokhara – Kade – Pothna (820m – 1890m)
Drive takes about 1 hour to kade. After kade, trekking trail heads climbing very straightly on a stone staircase. Passes several villages and reaches pothna. At the place of Pothna one can ascend about one hour to Deurali. From there, trail leads downwards through the forest. After descending, mountain path leads flat and passes several villages and reaches Landrung (1640m). Walking time takes approximately 5 hours, overnight at tea house lodge.
2nd Day: Landrung – Sinuwa (1640m – 2340m)
After short walk, crosses Modi River through the wooden bridge, trail ascends through the place of Jhinudanda to Chomrong (1780). From Chomrong on can descend and can cross Chomrong River . Again ascends through bamboo forest and reaches Sinuwa (3240m). Walking time takes about 6 hours, overnight at tea house lodge.
3rd Day: Sinuwa – Himalayan Hotel (2340m – 2870m)
At the place of the Sinuwa, one can follow up soft path through the bamboo forest to the place of bamboo. After there, trail leads ascending through the deep bamboo forest after crossing Doban and Himalayan Hotel. Walking time takes about 5 hours overnight at tea house lodge.
4th Day: Himalayan Hotel – Machhapuchhre Base camp (2870m – 3700m)
From Himalayan Hotel, trail leads continuously ascending through the bank of Modi River after crossing place of Deurali comes Machhapuchhre Base camp. Walking time takes about 4 hours overnight at tea house lodge.
5th Day: Machhapuchhre Base camp – Annapurna Base Camp (3700m – 4130m)
Ascending a path along asteam through the center of lateral moraine finally reveals Annapurna I (8091m). From there, one can pass along the grass covered area of Annapurna Base Camp. Walking time takes approximately 2 hours, overnight at tea house lodge.
6th Day: Annapurna Base Camp – Sinuwa (4130m – 2340m)
From Annapurna Base Camp, descends rapidly through the some trail after crossing the place of Machhapuchhre Base camp, Deurali, Himalayan Hotel, Doban bamboo and comes sinuwa. Walking time takes approximately 8 hours, overnight at tea house lodge.
7th Day: sinuwa – Chmorung -Jhinu Sauli Bazzar(2340m – 1300m)
At the place of Sinuwa, backs from the some descending and ascending through the Bamboo forest trail leads to Sauli Bazzar, the route almost descending and flat through the bank of Modi River and passes several villages such as jhuni , qumi , Kimle and comes Shyauli Bazaar. Walking time takes approximately 7 hours.
8th Day: Sauli Bazzar– nayapul -pokhara -kathmandu (2170m – 1940m)
At the place of sauli bazzar trail leads to Nayapul, the route almost descending and flat through the bank of Modi River and passes several villages and comes Nayapul. Walking times takes about 3 hours, after Nayapul 1 hour drives back to Pokhara. from pokhara 35 minutes fly back to kathmandu.
