I am a freelance Fixer and Translator for Media professionals. My name is Savitri Rajali, I live in Kathmandu. I am not a tour guide, nor am I a travel agent.

Since 2006, I have traveled all across Nepal while on assignment. From urban to remote locations, I've worked as a fixer and a translator, in the office and the field. It’s a job that’s taken me to the extremes of Nepali society, one day interviewing the richest man in Kathmandu, the next staying with the country’s most deprived people in a rural area. I work for foreign journalists on a wide rang

e of subjects and I have a strong understanding of journalistic goals. Many of my most meaningful jobs focus on women’s issues. As a native Nepali, and a woman from a humble background this is a topic I am extremely passionate about. My core interest is to assist professionals visiting Nepal so you can get your job done without wasting time solving practical problems. 13 years ago 75 years old Hari Maya Tamang lost her second son in Qatar, after 6months husband died from the pain loosing his son, two years ago she lost her youngest son of 35 years old again in Qatar. She told many her early age stories. It was an emotional day but i learn alot from her "smile is the most effective cure of all the pain we get in our life".
