The Norwegian climbster has successfully summited peak 14 (8,611m) today 27/07/2023 at approximately 10.45am completing her 14 Peaks challenge and breaking her own record to set a new True Summit World Record, as the fastest person to summit all 14 peaks, along with Lama (Tenjin Sherpa) in a total of 3 months, 17 hours and 45 minutes

Indian climber Baljeet Kaur found alive above 7,300m, long-line rescue underway. More:

Indian woman climber, who went missing above Camp IV on Mt Annapurna, has been found alive, an expedition organizer said.

Indian climber Baljeet Kaur safely reached the base camp of Annapurna after she climbed it without O2.

False news surfaced this morning saying an Indian climber from Himachal Pradesh, Baljeet Kaur (27) went missing and died on Annapurna while descending to the summit camp.

However, according to her agency input, she is now safe, had some cold injury, now heli-rescued to the base camp of Annapurna safely.

Baljeet went on an expedition to Annapurna this spring. She climbed the summit of Annapurna on 17th April 2023.

According to her Agency input, says she scaled the mountain without supplemental oxygen.

Nivesh Kariki, her handling agency head who talked to Dream Wanderlust says, "Fake news has been circulated by the Indian Media this morning, she is doing well, she has cold injury, she has been heli rescued to the Base Camp."

It is to be noted that Baljeet has some cold injury for which he is likely to be admitted to a hospital in Kathmandu this afternoon.
