“I am writing to commend you to your exceptional employee Hannah, who is genuinely an asset to Flight Centre NZ.
I have recently sought Hannah's help to get a very urgent flight home to Canada to see my very unwell father. Hannah was extremely efficient and able to get exactly the flight I needed to get home promptly.
She was also helpful in getting me my travel insurance, which down the road, made it very easy to extend this insurance through her when I had to stay longer in Canada (one-stop shop 😊).
That extension on my travel is also why I am so impressed with Hannah's customer service. She had made it clear before I left that if there was anything further, I needed while I was away to just email her, and she would be happy to help me in any way.
This is exactly what she has done this week during a stressful time. She has helped rebook my flight to a later date and extended my travel insurance seamlessly.
She has been very efficient at always communicating even though our time difference was somewhat a nuisance.

"One of my absolute favourite destinations that I have travelled to is Lauterbrunnen, in Switzerland.
A small town located in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by immense mountains and gorgeous waterfalls in every direction. My husband and I absolutely loved being nestled in this beautiful valley, completely surrounded by nature. It felt a lot like home, with the beautiful scenery in New Zealand but on a much larger scale.

Our first morning here, we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise peaking over the mountains and warming up the valley. A group of us decided to go for a walk up the mountain as we'd been told about this nice walking track. We walked, for what felt like hours and hours (because it truly was), until we arrived at a small town called Mürren. Mürren is a Swiss mountain village at the foot of the Schilthorn peak. We stopped and had a much deserved beer, with the most beautiful views, before heading back down the mountain. Little did we know, you could also catch a gondala up to the town from the base of the mountains, not far from where we were staying. Had we taken the gondola, we'd never had made the friendships we have today and had this incredible experience we'll never forget

By going off the beaten track and stepping out of our comfort zone, you'll find yourself in the most beautiful places, like Lauterbrunnen and Mürren. Travel is all about exploring and immersing yourself in different cultures, not only the hot tourist spots but also finding those hidden gems. "

It’s finally time to reconnect with the world! 🥳🙌 The government has just announced their plan to re-open our borders and remove MIQ (with some requirements).

Some important things to note:
👉 Every eligible traveller will be given 3 x Rapid Antigen Tests on arrival at the airport to take home with them for a day 0/1 test, day 5/6 test and one backup test if needed
👉 If positive, PCR test required for whole genome sequencing
👉 Self-isolation at home of 10 days at first, and then drop to 7 days (when we move to phase 2 of the government pandemic / Omicron response plan)
👉 MIQ will remain in place for non-vaccinated travellers

One of Hannah's favorite destinations is the United Kingdom!

"I love the historic buildings, the street life, history tours, shopping, theatre shows, amusement parks but mainly because it is home to the majority of my family.

My last trip to England to visit family was by far the most special, because I took my eldest daughter Paetyn this was the first time we traveled overseas together.

We did the palace tour which I would highly recommend.

One thing you must do when your there is go to one of their live Theatre shows in London, they are incredible!

It is also super beautiful down south the Exmouth beach in the summertime is a great holiday destination perfect for travelers traveling with or without children.
If you are travelling with children, the UK has plenty of amusement and holiday parks which are great!

One tip would be to make sure you carry an umbrella or rain jacket and don't get caught out in that sudden down poor like we did...😂

The UK is definitely on our list to visit again once the borders re-open!"

We are taking a well deserved break over the festive season from end of day on the 24th of December through to the 4th of Jan. We look forward to seeing everyone, rested and refreshed from 9am on the 5th of Jan 2022.
