We had the privilege of visiting Iona College, Havelock North week, and couldn’t help scan on of the coolest rooms ever! You can feel the history of this very prestigious school just by walking around the Heritage room.
A big shout out to all have gone through these doors, and to those who have yet to come!

During Waitangi Weekend of this year, we were privileged to be asked to create a full-immersion, virtual reality tour of the Toitoi - Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre This particular scan of the Hawke's Bay Opera House took nearly 12 hours, and over 18,681 steps!

FOUND - CAT - (SH5 - ESKDALE) HAWKE'S BAY
16.02.23 - Still looking her family. Do you recognise this girl or know who will be missing her?
15.2.23 - Do you know anyone who was evacuated from SH5 Eskdale? Are they missing a cat? Found by emergency services, is now safe and being cared for in a quiet environment to recover from its ordeal. Believed to be female, was too traumatised initially to check properly. Will be checked for microchip as and when this is possible due to the flooding in Hawke's Bay.

(A little late, but hopefully you will forgive me with the following news).
In early February, we will be adding virtual reality tours of no-less than 15 venues and businesses to www.virtualhawkesbay.co.nz. We will be working with Toitoi - Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre & to scan some of the newest, and some of the oldest, venues in Hastings.
And there is so much more to come throughout 2023!
We created Virtual Tourism New Zealand 5 years ago with the vision of promoting our tourism industry to the world through full-immersion, virtual reality.
My passion has always been historic buildings, and previous roles have allowed me to visit some of our countries most beautiful, iconic properties. Napier Prison in Napier, The Pumphouse Theatre in Auckland, The Vic Theatre in Devonport, and lets not forget our meticulous historic villages that have been maintained, in many instances, by an army of volunteers, but none have captivated me, or the rest of the country, as much as one Hawke's Bay icon.
In February, 2023, & , will be creating a full-immersion, virtual tour of one of our countries most iconic buildings, , for Toitoi - Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre, and I can't wait!
We will be scanning all of the hospitality businesses in the Municipal Building too!

Well, it's official, since 2020, Muse3D & Virtual Tourism New Zealand, using technology, have created over 335 full-immersion, virtual reality tours, for the New Zealand hospitality and tourism industry. These have consisted of accommodation, venue's and, my personal favourite, historic buildings, just to mention a few.
We have travelled to to create tours for Plantation Island (and yes, Im proud to say that we will be heading back to in January 2023, to scan some new properties).
I say this because not only am I proud of our accomplishments, but because I was told that my dream would not work in New Zealand, and that I couldn't do it.
This was my dream, and dreams do come true through literally blood, sweat and tears.
Last Friday saw Muse3D & Virtual Tourism New Zealand, created its 2,223 virtual tour in nearly 5 years!
2023 will see us work on our biggest, most ostentatious project yet, and we can't wait, as it will be in the Hawke's Bay!
The moto of the story is this : "When they tell you that you can't do something, do it twice, and sell t-shirts"
Ok, we have been asked to create virtual tours of many places that have been reputed to be “haunted”, but none have had the privilege of being on New Zealand’s guide to the “15 Haunted Places in New Zealand That Will Give You The Shivers”.

Well, we are proud to present the full-immersion, virtual reality tour of the Napier Prison. Not all of our history is pretty, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. Napier Prison is perhaps the most iconic prison in the country, and still attracts visitors from both on and off-shore.

While organising the upcoming scan of a local Napier landmark, I couldn’t help but take shot of this other local landmark! The St.Mary’s Church in Ahuriri, Napier
16 years ago this week,(in another lifetime),I arranged the first ever paranormal investigation into the Old Napier Prison. So it seems only fitting that Muse3D & Virtual Tourism New Zealand create the first full-immersion, Virtual Tour of one of the countries most iconic sites!

For the past 2 years, the sole mission of Virtual Hawke’s Bay has been to promote our beautiful region, and its uniqueness, to the world using full-immersion, virtual reality.
