What's so exciting about visiting Cambridge, is you never know whether you'll rub shoulders with an Olympian! Most of our Olympians have returned and we're enjoying welcoming their home. Great story here on how our cyclists who train with Cycling New Zealand at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome in Cambridge, achieved their greatest haul of medals ever. https://bit.ly/3yOymjV

The magnificent old Masonic Hotel is nearing completion and will be known as The Clements Hotel, as a nod to Archibald Clements who built the original hotel on the site in 1866. Clements was the third mayor of Cambridge and one of the pioneers and founders of the Cambridge township.

We have enjoyed seeing the property transformed over the past year, and look forward to stepping through the doors when it opens later this year.

The website is live and bookings are now being taken for reservations after 1 November.

Wow what a start to our kiwi rowers’ Olympic campaign last night. These guys train out at the Rowing NZ base at Lake Karapiro which we are blessed to have in our backyard. Go team!

The Kiwi crews laced up, then raced up a storm, as the rain came bucketing down.
