We have an unparalleled mix of fun, challenge and excitement including jumps, slides, abseils/rappels, zips and flips. Half day and full day tours with introductory or advanced courses available on request. Our main canyon tours Tui and Kaumira are easily accessed by road so no long hikes to get there!

If you like water sports, flying through the air and jumping off stuff... then you’ll love canyoning with Big Rock Adventures!

Canyoning is the ultimate adventure activity, full of fun and exciting personal challenges. Our half day and day trip tours have a variety of different sized cliff jumps and natural water slides. When it is too shallow below the waterfalls, we can abseil/rappel, climb down through the boulders or zip line down to the bottom!

We offer half day and day trip excursions or courses that are suitable for all, wilderness overnight expedition canyoning trips and action packed advanced and customised canyoning and river rescue courses for novices and professionals alike... the most fun and exciting learning you can have!
