The Pearce Cup Final was decided without a ball bowled due to the wet weather this week, giving the 2022/23 Taita District Premier Men three trophies in three formats!

Congratulations Taita District Cricket Club!

A massive congratulations to Taita District Cricket Club on their victory in the Ewen Chatfield Trophy Final on Saturday!

Having dominated the 50 over competition, Taita continued to show why they were seen as favourites going into the contest with Hutt District. Hutt District batted first posting a competitive 225 in their 50 overs, showing why they too deserved to be there. Taita, in reply got off to a solid start as they have for the majority of this season with their top order making light work of the chase at hand, reaching the target with 12 overs left in the days play and six wickets in hand.

McCormack Group is a Civil Construction contractor in Wellington and we are currently looking for asphalt and construction staff with all levels of experience from labouring through to operating to join our small team. We are looking for varying levels of employee expertise to fit into the team and you will be remunerated accordingly. You must be team orientated as each staff member plays a vital part within the company. You will need to have a great can do, get stuck in attitude! Be prepared to work the hours. Training will be provided and there is plenty of potential to move up in the company.
