Today marks 1 year in business for us!! 🏖 Flash back to the warm waters and warm hearts of Fiji!! 🏝

We stayed at the Outrigger on the coral coast and was just what we needed at that time, flop and drop!! Great kids facilities, great choice of restaurants, good food, lovely pool.....you don't really come to this resort/area for the beach but was a great place to explore from!

⛱️ We both know Fiji very well having visited over 15 times between us! There are some good deals on just now and it's not too late to book a relaxing break for 2024!

Emirates has announced it will resume flight operations to Edinburgh starting from 4 November 2024.
The highly anticipated return to the Scottish capital will complement the airline’s current A380 daily flight to Glasgow and offer customers 14 weekly flights to/from the country.

Back to the Highlands:
Emirates first launched operations to Edinburgh in 2018 utilising a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline will now resume its operations to the city utilising its new A350 aircraft with spacious cabins, high ceilings, and customised mood lighting.

Customers travelling from Edinburgh can also access the airline’s extensive network of more than 130 destinations via Dubai, including popular destinations such as Maldives, Bangkok, Sydney, and Bali.

Going forward everyone entering New Zealand needs to submit a New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) online before departure.

Travellers who have been unable to complete it digitally will be able to complete a paper version on arrival.

A few days out of range but what an amazing experience Stu had staying overnight at a monastery, sleeping on the floor, 4am start to learn meditation and have tea with a Monk....not for the faint hearted but he said a highlight!

Back to Busan, a night of beer, fried chicken and Kareoke!

Well, after a 12 hour flight on Air NZ stu landed safely in Seoul, they hit the metro straight away and immersed themselves into the cuisine and started with Korean Fried chicken and a beer for the 'chimaek' experience!!

After a much needed sleep they jumped on the train towards Jeonju, a city that is all about doing things slowly!

He's sleeping on the floor (on a futon mattress) in a cute little authentic Hanok guesthouse.....with heated floors!

This afternoon he has enjoyed learning the art of making kimchi

It's cold but not unbearable!

As part of our job as Travel Brokers, we get to see cruise ships when they come into Port. No passengers on board, so we are able to have a good tour around, have lunch, and meet some of the crew.

This ship (Fred Olsen cruise line - Borealis) was a good surprise. It's not one of the major cruiselines you hear about .... but the vibe was steeped in British tradition and had a "small ship" feel as only 1200 passengers ( some of the other ships are 2-5k plus!).

The food was amazing, the staff so accommodating and what struck me were the countless public areas, so many options to chill out and enjoy your cruise.

The best thing is the itineraries they do, as they are smaller, they can get into smaller bodies of water, hence off the beaten track! The prices are so affordable for what you get.
