Hosts Jenna and Ray were so inspired by their intrepid travels throughout Morocco they decided to establish a b

outique Bed & Breakfast in Paraparaumu on the Kāpiti Coast of New Zealand with a Moroccan theme. Inspired by the colours and craftsmanship of Morocco, the bedroom features a colouful large pendant light from Marrakesh, wall sconces from the seaside town Essouira, and textiles from Fes. The adjoining ensuite has a hand crafted gold brass handbasin from Cassablanca and the two person, double rainhead shower with massage jets features beautiful coloured tiles. The private deck is inspired by the blue and white colours of the seaside town of Rabat and leads directly to the native bush trail featuring an outdoor bath guests may use. Guests often comment on how private and secluded they feel even though it is just a five minute drive to the shops or beach. Guests also comment on the fabulous breakfast made from the on site organic garden.

General information

Your relaxation is assured here. Guests repeatedly tell us how comfortable the queen bed is, how fabulous the large two person shower with massage jets is, and how good it is to relax outside on the deck in their own private space surrounded by bush. Our business travelers love to base themselves here to do business across the Wellington region. We are a couple of streets from the Expressway on-ramp and offer unlimited wireless internet. Equally, if you're after a romantic getaway, the room has a choice of ambient lighting. The brass lantern and wall sconces set the scene nicely! The luxurious ensuite features a gold sink, gold taps, two person shower with massage jets and heated towel rail (linen supplied). Our location is handy to everything you need. We are within 2kms of the beach, the main Paraparaumu shops and supermarkets, and 700m from a family pub that has lovely restaurant meals. We're also 2kms from Southwards Car Museum, the Waikanae River and Otaihanga with walking and mountainbike tracks. We care about the environment. We collect rainwater and it is used for toilet flushing as well as irrigation. We recycle our food scraps for our worm farm and for composting. The worms generate a fertiliser that is great for our organic vegetable garden. We make soil from our leaves and add it to our compost and we add compost to the garden, which grows hearty vegetables which we share with our guests for breakfast! It is our pleasure to host you!
