After 42 years of providing a show space for my Classics and unusuals, I am now going to be working from my home in Plimmerton. I will still be operating my web site and will have some storage available with viewing by appointment. I can now also come to you, have your car prepared for sale, photographed and put online, but it remains at your place and we arrange any viewings to suit us both. Valu

ations will of course be still available, I now have the freedom to come and visit you and your vehicle. It has become apparent that there is a gap in the market so I am going to offer a unique service to 65’s and over. and the day comes when they choose to no longer drive. From my experience that can be a difficult and sensitive time when losing your mobility and independence. I feel after 42 years of handling clients precious cars that have become part of the family, I have the necessary skills to ensure the sale of your car will be as smooth and stress free as possible. I’m looking forward to this new phase of McGuinness Classics Inc, still offering you the same cheerful service wrapped in a bit of blarney.

1973 Bay Window. New Australia, then NZ Jan 74. Still in delightful condition in all aspects. Last long term owners since 1995. Garaged and well cared for. Now sporting the last of the 2000cc air cooled motors from the factory in Germany. Paint updated in 2016 and interior in 2019.. New sink, fridge and stovetop.
It travels great and with auto trans makes cruising a doddle.

There won't be many of us that didn’t lust after these attractive Aussie Chryslers back in the day. If only. Well Sonja Ireland has been smitten since she was 19 and now owns this solid example of classic Aussie.
“We are talking about a car that was born in the lower North Island, has an American name, but speaks with an Australian accent. Todd Motors assembled Chrysler Corporation and Rootes Group cars. The valiant models were built from CKD packs sent over from the Chrysler Australia plant near Adelaide. These cars were specific to the Australasian market even though they were based on a US platform.”
