If you manage two or more short-term rental properties on behalf of their owners in New Zealand or Australia, and you promote them through multiple sites, ( etc), you'll know the pain of reconciling the payments related to each guest stay. We can make this pain go away!
You're likely to be using Hosthub or Lodgify to provide a hub to avoid double-bookings, and to provide a centralised record of bookings, payments etc. But these don't tell you how much you need to pay the owners. And they don't account for linen and cleaning charges. And they don't create the payment record in your accounting package. And neither do they create the payout record so that your accounting package knows what to be expecting from the channels.
StreamlineStays has developed a process wherein you can export a file from (Hosthub etc), email it to our processor, and two minutes later you will receive three files to import into (Xero etc). One to pay your owners; one to pay any contractors who you have employed to manage properties for a cleaning fee and a commission; and one to create invoices for each of the channels, so that when payouts are received, all you need to do is click "Reconciled" in your accounting package.
15 minutes, once per month, and you are ready to pay all your owners, whether you have 2 properties, or 22. That's less time than it takes you to reconcile one stay for one property, isn't it?
