Beautiful trip with a Sunset to die for

Absolutely amazing , great guide Amer, he took us to the Wadi Bani Khalid for a refeshing swim, a quick trip to the Bedouin house to see how they lived in the desert before. Our finest moment was the Wahiba Sands Desert, absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t ask for any better experience in Muscat.

We took a full day tour for wabi bank Khalid and Wahhabi desert with Abdul majeed , he told us a lot about history of Oman and took us to places that was unbelievable. We were so happy with him and we did a mini camp in desert and he was equipped completely and we enjoy watching sunset in desert and drank Arabian coffee.
Thanks to the agency and specially Mr Abdulmajeed to provided us such a great experience In Oman 🇴🇲

We were in oman for our honey moon. Patient, kind and helpfull, our guide Ahmad was the best guide of oman. His time managing is excellent. Not only he make us visit the country but he also show us what and how omanians thinks and lives by explaining how the country works and how the system is structured. One of the best experience we had in our lives for sure. If we come again i will ask for Ahmad😁

Let’s start with the trip, sink hole, secluded beach, turtles, wadis, mountains, desert sunset, hiking, swimming, cave, amazing views, souks, forts, castle, goats, camels, coffee & dates, fish lunch, UNESCO sites, irrigation systems, historic villages, and more, ending with an amazing canyon.

Now for our guide Yahya, what an amazing guide. Engaging, funny, knowledgable, full of fantastic stories and facts, and most importantly a fantastic driver!!!

Wij boekten onze tweedaagse trip naar de Wahiba Sands woestijn pas op het laatste moment.
Toch stond onze gids Khalfan volledig geprepareerd voor ons klaar. Wij wisten ternauwernood wat ons te wachten stond en realiseerden ons dus niet wat er voor hem bij kwam kijken.

Een groot hoogtepunt van onze trip is de Wadi Shab. Daar begonnen we aan een stevige hike. Khalfan zorgde er letterlijk voor dat we geen misstap maakten. Aan het eind van de prachtige hike stond ons een mooie verrassing te wachten: heerlijk heldere waterpoelen tussen de bergen en palmen. Na dit geweldige avontuur reden we naar Wabi Sands en zagen we een prachtige zonsondergang. Khalfan heeft daar een heel kampje voor ons opgezet en we hebben er genoten van zijn kookkunst. Na een nacht in ons tentje hebben we de zon weer zien opkomen en zijn we naar Wadi Bani Khaled gegaan om ook daar heerlijk te zwemmen. De hele trip was een fantastisch onvergetelijk avontuur. Khalfan was onze chauffeur, gids, kok en fotograaf tegelijk. Hij deed er alles aan om het naar ons zin te maken.
Eigenlijk kunnen we maar 1 minpuntje bedenken: dat we Khalfan geen 6 sterren kunnen geven.

Private Half Day Muscat City Tour

We decided to book a private half day tour to visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House and Muttrah Souq.

We had the pleasure of being given a wonderful Tour Guide named Saif. He was very hospitable, warm and friendly and he spoke very good English. He wanted to share everything he knew about Muscat and his country.

Our first stop was at the Grand Mosque. He had come prepared because I had notified the tour company that we did not have appropriate clothing to enter the Mosque. Saif had brought the right dress code for us. When at the Mosque he told us everything we needed to know and showed us how the men wash before entering the Mosque. After leaving the actual Mosque, Saif then took us to meet the female volunteers, to sit with them, drink coffee and eat some dates. We had the opportunity of asking them anything that we wanted to know. It was so informative. More importantly, the female volunteers were lovely. So welcoming! What was clear to see was the honesty, loyalty and trustworthiness of Omani people. They have strong morals and values and I really enjoyed their company. You could feel the warmth of the people.

Next stop was the Royal Opera House. This is an impressive building. It’s grand and opulent. If you like the arts, you must visit the Opera House!

By the time we had finished at the Opera House, our half day tour had in effect reached an end. We had spent so much time talking at the Mosque we had run out of time. However, this was not a problem for Saif. He said his objective was to ensure we enjoyed the tour and because he could see we were enjoying our time at the Mosque, he didn’t want to interrupt us. He wanted us to enjoy the experience.

Our last part of the tour was to Muttrah Souq. However, by the time we got there, some of the shops were closing for the afternoon, but this didn’t stop us from taking in the market atmosphere and way of life. I would like to emphasise it was our fault for the lateness to the Souq, not Saif’s.

In summary, the half day tour was a great introduction to Oman, Omani people and their culture.

I would highly recommend Saif as a tour guide. You will feel so comfortable with him. You really won’t be disappointed.
It was a great day!
