5 JANUARY 2022
Cebu Pacific Air will resume its direct weekly flight between Macao and Manila starting 5 February.

Apart from flights to and from Taiwan, the Cebu Pacific service will be the second scheduled international flight using Macao International Airport since Scoot resumed its Singapore route in April 2021.

As the Philippines has been listed as one of the foreign countries with an extremely high risk for Covid-19, passengers who take this flight will need to present certificates for three nucleic acid tests, conducted within five days of the intended departure date; each test must be at least 24 hours apart.

In addition, passengers face 28 days centralised isolation medical observation, which will rise to 35 days if tested positive for serologic testing

As of November 24, 2021; 12 PM

These special commercial flights can accommodate Filipinos and foreign nationals. Please take note of the following guidelines for these flights:

All passengers must register for One Health Pass through the website: https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/ before departing Dubai. Upon completion, each passenger will be issued a personal QR code. This must be presented upon check-in for the flight, and upon arrival in the Philippines.

For unvaccinated / partially vaccinated individuals, or those whose vaccination status cannot be verified

Confirmed booking in an accredited quarantine hotel/facility for at least 6 nights

Pre-register for the RT-PCR test, to be done on the 5th day from arrival at Manila through PADLab

*Please note that Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who are required to undergo facility-based quarantine and RT-PCR test upon arrival are to coordinate with OWWA or their local manning agency for their RT-PCR test and facility-based quarantine upon arrival.

For fully vaccinated individuals
Foreign Nationals

Proof of Vaccination
Negative RT-PCR test result, conducted within 72 hours before departure. Foreign nationals who will not be able to present a negative RT-PCR test result will undergo a facility-based quarantine upon arrival, until the release of a negative RT-PCR test (swab on the 5th day)
Filipino Citizens

Proof of Vaccination

Filipinos with negative RT-PCR test result presented (conducted within 72 hours before departure) – no quarantine upon arrival

Filipinos WITHOUT RT-PCR test before departure - test upon arrival at the airport; quarantine until release of negative results

It is recommended that Filipinos present their negative RT-PCR result (conducted within 72 hours before departure) upon check-in, so they no longer need to undergo quarantine upon arrival.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their spouse, parent/s, and/or children traveling with them vaccinated in the Philippines or abroad, Non-OFWs vaccinated in the country or abroad, and Foreigners vaccinated in the Philippines
-VaxCertPH digital vaccination certificate or Bureau of Quarantine/World Health Organization-issued International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV), or National digital certificate of the foreign government where they were vaccinated, whichever is available

Foreign nationals vaccinated abroad
-WHO-issued ICV, or National digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement

PAL to divert March 26 flights from Dammam, Doha bound for Manila to Cebu
ABS-CBN News
Mar 20 2021 05:20 AM

MANILA—The Philippine Airlines on Friday announced it will be redirecting its flights on March 26 from Dammam in Saudi Arabia and Doha in Qatar to Cebu, instead of Manila as originally planned, because of quarantine capacity limitations at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The air carrier said in a statement that the decision was "necessary" to avoid full cancellation.

According to PAL, flight PR 5687 on March 26 will depart from Dammam at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Cebu at 7:30 a.m. on March 27. Flight PR 685 on March 26 will also depart from Doha at 8:00 p.m. and arrive in Cebu at 11:00 a.m. March 27.

"You will undergo a facility-based quarantine while waiting for your RT-PCR test administered on day six (6). Day one (1) starts on the day of your arrival," the airline said.

PAL advised passengers of PR 5687 and PR 685 to check all requirements prior to the flight.

"This new option to land in Cebu is one solution (to the quarantine arrival limitations) that we have worked out with airport and health authorities, so that we can serve the thousands of travelers who have urgent and essential reasons to travel home to the Philippines," the carrier said.

"Our aircraft and our crew are ready to fly you home, and we will do what we can to make this possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

This development came amid an aggressive surge of new coronavirus cases in the Philippines.

The country earlier Friday reported 7,103 new COVID-19 cases, its highest recorded daily tally since the pandemic began over a year ago, with the number of active infections also at its highest in nearly 7 months.

18/03/2021

Travel Advisory: PAL cancelled flights as of 7PM, March 17
March 17, 20214970

Philippine Airlines has released the list of initial affected flights following the imposition of restrictions on inbound travel beginning March 20.

PAL said more flight cancellations will be announced once the verification process is done.

Affected passengers are offered to rebook on the flight of their choice with rebooking service fees waived, refund, or convert ticket to voucher. – With reports from Karen Villanda #
