Buktot Beach : A Hidden Beauty in Mansalay Oriental Mindoro

White Beach in Buktot, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro. The only white beach I’ve visited so far, is the one in Puerto Galera. So, we’ve made plans to visit the place and one of the many hidden beauties of Oriental Mindoro.

Buktot Beach is ideal for family and group outings, with only the sun and sand do the works and wonders. Open cottages, benches and bamboo tables are available for the picnickers.

The sand is incredibly white, soft and the finest I’ve ever seen. Boracay finally finds its greatest nemesis in Buktot Beach. Cottages are rented out in cheap rates, which is really helpful for the budget-conscious.

How to get to Buktot Beach

From Calapan City, vans are available going to Mansalay. From the town proper, board a jeepney going to Bulalacao. Get off at Brgy. Cabanwa. Buktot Beach is a few kilometer of rough road from the highway.
