IMPORTANT ADVISORY!!!

ALL airport passengers MUST download and register an account in the TRAZE Contact Tracing App beginning 28 November 2020, prior entering the airport.

How to register? Just these simple steps:
• Download the TRAZE App from your mobile store and install it on your phone
• Open the app and click the “Register” button below. Register as “Individual.”
• Just follow the instructions indicated in the app and input the needed information
• Activate your account

Meanwhile, for passengers who do not have mobile phones or any other mobile gadget, they may go to the Malasakit Helpdesk at the airport where they will be provided assistance in getting a unique QR code. Or, they may likewise ask a family member to register them with the app.

The QR code can be used at any DOTr Office nationwide.

TRAZE, a nationwide and unified contact tracing app is co-developed by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and Cosmotech Philippines, Inc., which enables the government’s contact tracing efforts to be strengthened and be more efficient.

With TRAZE, the contact tracing process can now be done in just a few minutes, unlike the usual and manual process. Not only that—you can also be assured that your data is safe and secured, as the app fully complies with the Data Privacy Act (DPA) or Republic Act No. 10173. Further, it does not use bluetooth or GPS, and it works well even with slow mobile data and WiFi!

American Airlines Travel News and Information

Today’s travel experience may come with increased credential requirements, due to recent global health concerns. If your destination requires additional health documentation, American recommends customers arrive at the airport a minimum of three hours prior to departure.

This increased check-in time gives American sufficient time to complete the check-in process and verify the customer has all of the travel documents needed for the flight.

Revised Travel Restrictions on Foreign Nationals and their Spouses and Children (as of July 13, 2020)

Memorandum summary, as follows:

1. The IATF lifted the suspension on non-essential outbound travel by Filipinos with these conditions:
a. Submission of confirmed round-trip tickets for those traveling on tourist visa
b. Adequate travel and health insurance
c. Allowed entry by the destination country
d. Ex*****on of a declaration acknowledging the risks involved in traveling
e. Upon return, shall follow the guidelines of Returning Overseas Filipinos of the NTF

2. All foreigners outside the country either with immigrant, non-immigrant or special visas are still not allowed to enter the Philippines, except for:

a. Accredited Foreign Government and Internationl Organization officials and their dependents
b. Foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals; and
c. Foreign airline crew

As of 14 June, there are 23 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have allowed* the commercial operation of flights.

Meanwhile, 9 airports are set to start accepting commercial flights on later dates.

*Some airports, while allowing commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.
