Are you feeling lucky? Consider heading to Taiwan!

Starting May 1, Taiwan implemented the “Taiwan the Lucky Land” travel incentive for international free independent travelers (holding non-ROC passports). Visitors who register on the event’s official website between 1 and 7 days prior to their scheduled arrival will have a chance to win prizes worth NT$5,000 (US$162) each.

According to the Tourism Bureau, winners will be able to select either a pre-paid e-ticket card, or an accommodation voucher which they can use during their stay.

In 2023 alone, 250,00 vouchers will be distributed. Another 250,000 to be distributed over the course of 2024 and 2025.
