Cebu Pacific Air – Why everyone flies

Greetings Travelers!

Great news to start off the Christmas season!

The nation's largest low cost carrier, has confirmed its commitment to launch flights to the United States with the official announcement that it will begin flying to Guam in March 15, 2016. This marks Cebu Pacific’s first US destination and slated to launch a four times weekly service between Manila and Guam.

This expansion will see the airline offering its trademark low fares to the sizeable Filipino community in Guam, which currently comprises about 26% of the island's population. CEB kicked off the Guam route announcement with P2,500 all-in seats, available until November 29, 2015 or until seats last. These are for travel from March 15 to November 30, 2016. After the seat sale, CEB fares to Guam start from P7,197, which is still up to 40% lower compared to other airlines.

CEB's Guam route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
and Sunday, and will utilize the airline's brand-new Airbus A320 fleet.

Cebu Pacific is once again banking on its lowest fares to stimulate demand and increase traffic between the two destinations.

Taking a flight? NAIA requires travelers to turn on gadgets

Dear Affiliates,

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) started yesterday (July 10, 2014) requiring all passengers on international flights, regardless of destination, to switch on all their electronic gadgets.

The move comes in the wake of a new regulation by the United States requiring US-bound travelers from Europe and the Middle East to submit to closer inspection of electronic items such as laptops and smartphones over fears that militants linked to al-Qaeda are developing new explosives that could be slipped onto planes undetected.

In a related development, a source said that aviation security officers from Canada will be in the country to inspect NAIA’s security procedures from July 24 to 26.
