Day 2: LONDON 1 DAY
Breakfast inside the hotel. Proceed to the departure point (on your own) at Victoria Coach Station at 08:45 am. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before. The tour begins with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square to see the magnificent Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married. To Kensington Palace, former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. We'll see the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial. We head to St James' Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colorful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band. Then have a chance to enjoy lunch at a traditional London Pub. We take you on a guided tour of St Paul's Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece with its magnificent dome. The Cathedral was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London in 1666. In recent years it has seen the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer and, more recently, the thanksgiving services for both the Diamond Jubilee and 80th Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. Climb 259 steps up the dome and you will find The Whispering Gallery, which runs around the interior of the Dome. Finally on to the Tower of London, one of the world's most famous and spectacular fortresses. Over the past 1000 years it has been a Royal Palace, an armory and a place of imprisonment and ex*****on. The Beefeaters who guard the Tower will regale you with stories of its past. We will visit the Crown Jewels, including the magnificent solid-gold crown used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the enormous Culminant diamonds and the extraordinary Koh-I-Noor.
Day 3: LONDON – WINDSOR – STONEHENGE – BATH – LONDON
Breakfast inside the hotel. Proceed to the departure point (on your own) at Victoria Coach Station at 08:00 am. Please be at the departure point 30 minutes before. Over 900 years of Royal history are waiting for you in Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames just outside of London. We shall be amongst the first people to enter Windsor Castle, so you can see for yourself the splendor of St. George's chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. Windsor itself is a pretty town full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of them. We head to the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, Stonehenge. Now a world heritage site; its stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain and its origins date back nearly 5,000 years and it has been home to pagan religion and spiritual worship. Our final stop is Bath, another world heritage site. Bath is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces and architecture. Following our panoramic tour of the city, there will be time to visit Bath Abbey and Poultney Bridge overlooking the river Avon cascading over the weir. You can shop, explore or take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to the tiring quarter. Your ticket includes entrance to the Roman Baths that were built nearly 2,000 years ago. Built on Britain's only natural hot water spring lies the magnificent Roman public bath complex and Roman temple. You can walk around the steaming pool on the Roman stone paving and admire the ancient Roman statues and architecture.
