APO Island offers snorkeling at its best! From Dumaguete, it’s a 30-minute drive south to Malatapay--the take off point, where a pumpboat will whisk you off to APO Island for another half-hour. We will take to Turtle pt, where you can swim with the turtles or pawikan (or watch them even from shallow waters)! Here you get the chance to snorkel to your heart’s content. Lunch is at th e rustic Apo Island Beach Resort. And if youre still up for it, we challenge you to a 30-minute trek to the Habagat Trail where youll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the coastline and marine sanctuary. Spend the rest of the day swimming, beach- combing or just lazing at the white pebble beach before heading back to the mainland by mid-afternoon.

Tourists often flock to the beaches of San Juan that cater to both local surfers as well as portions of the world surfing scene. The province of La Union boasts one of the best and most consistent beginner-to-intermediate quality surf swells in the country. We have two swell seasons: North (October-March) & South (June to September).

Efficient coaching.
Our school limits a maximum of one student per instructor in our 1:1 system of coaching. This maximizes each of our student’s potential to learn the basic surf education quickly and safely. Our surf instructors have all undergone First Aid, Basic Life Support and Water Safety & Rescue training to make sure that all safety standards in and out of the water are met.

Safe learning environment. Safety in the water is as important as safety on land – and that is why our surf school is equipped with quality soft boards especially made for beginners! Also, since surfing entails being exposed under the sun for quite some time, we provide our students with rash guards to protect them from the harmful rays of the sun. Although, sunscreen is still a must!

5 Day Surfing Wave Rider Course Description: In this course we progress you through levels and skills to have you catching and surfing unbroken waves, taking the drop, riding the wave face, bottom and top turns, positioning in the line-up and advanced surf safety. Our coaches will take you to appropriate surf breaks for your level and guide you on the surf conditions. This is the course for anyone serious about becoming a surfer.
