THE PAKISTAN TOURIST GUIDES ACT, 1976
Act No.XXVI OF 1976
[11th May, 1976]
An Act to provide for the regulation and control of the profession
Of tourist guides
WHEREAS it is necessary and expedient to provide for the regulation and
control of the profession of tourist guides;
It is hereby enacted as follow: ---
1. — (1) This Act may be called the Pakistan Tourist Guides Act 1976.
(2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan and applies to all tourist guides
wherever they may be.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
Definitions
2. ---In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context, ---
(a) “Committee” means the Tourist Guide Regulatory
Committee set up under section 3;
(b) “licence” means licence issued under section 4;
(c) “Prescribed” means prescribed by rules;
(d) “rules” means rules made under this Act; and
(e) “tourist guide” means a person licensed as such under
section 4.
Committee
3.--- (1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, the
Federal Government shall set up a committee to be known as the Tourist
Guide Regulatory Committee consisting of a Chairman and such other
members as the Federal Government may appoint.
(2) The Chairman and other members of the Committee shall hold
office during the pleasure of the Federal Government on such terms and
conditions as the Federal Government may determine.
(3) The Committee shall perform the following functions namely: ---
(a) advise the Federal Government in the implementation of the
provisions of this Act and the rules.
(b) Assist the Federal Government in the preparation of the
code of conduct for tourist guides; and
(c) Such other functions as are in consonance with provisions of
this Act and which the Federal Government may entrust to
it.

Jagged, giant peaks with a maximum elevation of 5600 m (approx) with a semi-circular arc consisting of mankaal or mankaal mountains. The length of this mountains is about 22 kilometers. These lovely mountains offer a fascinating view of snowy streets, especially when the sky is clear. And its journey is very dangerous and difficult. But this difficult and dangerous journey is completed by a team of swat. I congratulate rahim and his colleagues from the hiking club that they played on their lives and touched the height of this mountain.
