Hamoon Hospitality Services is part of the Hamoon Group in Pakistan that is focused n providing hospitality, tourism, travel and destination management services to valued clients.
The business values in Hamoon family dates back to the 1960's when 3 sons of Mr. Ali Madad (Grandfather of Mr. Nisar Ahmed Hunzai) started a trade business. Ibadat Shah (father of Mr. Nisar Hunzai and eldest son of Mr. Ali Madad ) was an army official who visited Bangladesh regularly. His visits provided an opportunity to bring home the products that were lesser known but had great potential; and in return introduce organic and other products from Hunza in Bangladesh, only stories of which the Bengalis had heard. The business thrived for the next 40 years. During the first half, local products like traditional caps, hand made woolen cloth, apricot oil, dry nuts etc were taken to Bangladesh in return of machine made cloth / lawns, tea, milk powder - all of which were a new introductions in then less accessible valley of Hunza. After the war or 1971 and separation of East Pakistan, the exports were limited and eventually died out but the tea and cloth business remained active until the death of Hidayat Shah in 2001 who was the last living son of Mr. The business trends had changed. Most of the new generation of the family was now involved in hospitality industry. The first venture was management of Regent Hotel Rawalpindi in 1998 which started a new era of business in the family. The company was formally incorporated in 2015.
