A chartered Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane left for Poland to to repatriate Pakistanis stranded in Warsaw due to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, announced the national carrier in a tweet.

"PIA, in coordination with Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Government of Pakistan, has dispatched a special repatriation flight to Warsaw, Poland to bring back stranded countrymen from war-hit Ukraine," tweeted the airline after the plane had departed from Pakistan.

PIA said that PK7788, the flight number, will return to Islamabad with the stranded Pakistanis today.

The plane is expected to land at 10 am local time in Warsaw and will bring around 300 Pakistanis home who were displaced by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued a new set of instructions for passengers to Saudi Arabia regarding COVID-19 detection tests, quarantine procedures.

Under the new instructions, the passengers will be bound to spend five days in dedicated isolation centres in Saudi Arabia that have received two doses of the Covid vaccine.

A family including a couple and their children will be allowed to complete their quarantine period together, the spokesperson said. The violators of the rules would face fines of up to 200,000 Saudi riyals.

The passengers will be given transport and food facilities from the airport to the quarantine centre by the companies, whereas, the travellers will undergo a COVID-19 test 24 hours after landing in Saudi Arabia.

The national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to operate direct flights to three countries including Australia, Maldives and Hong Kong.

PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arshad Malik said that the national carrier expedited work of the planned direct flights to three countries. He added that PIA has also planned to resume flights to Istanbul and Bangkok.

The PIA CEO said that the concerned aviation authorities were being contacted to resume flights to the United Kingdom (UK), United States (US) and European countries.

Arshad Malik said that European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) informed Pakistani authorities to conduct an audit. He added that the flights to European countries will be resumed after the clearance of the audit.

#سعودی وزارت داخلہ نے ٹویٹس کے ایک سلسلے میں یکم جنوری 2021 سے سفری پابندیوں کو مکمل طور پر ختم کرنے کے ساتھ 15 ستمبر 2020 کو شروع ہونے والی پروازوں کے بتدریج دوبارہ بحالی کے فیصلے کا اعلان کر دیا۔

وزارت نے یہ بھی کہا کہ دسمبر 2020 میں حتمی جائزہ لیا جائے گا اور وزارت صحت کے تعاون اور تعاون سے فیصلوں کا مستقل جائزہ لیا جائے گا۔

منگل ، 15 ستمبر 2020 سے ، مندرجہ ذیل گروپوں کے لئے سفری پابندی ختم کردی جائے گی

- شہریوں کے لئے بین الاقوامی سفر (فوجی ، سرکاری ملازمین ، اور شہری جو سرکاری فرائض کے لئے تفویض کیے گئے ہیں)

- مندرجہ ذیل ویزا کیٹیگریز کے ساتھ مملکت میں داخل ہونے اور باہر جانے کے لئے بین الاقوامی سفر (ایکزٹ رینٹری ویزا ، ورک ویزا ، اور وزٹ ویزا)

- جی سی سی ممبر ممالک کے شہریوں کے لئے داخلہ اور خارجی راستہ

سفر کے لئے شرائط کوویڈ 19 ٹیسٹ کیریٹنگ 48 گھنٹوں کے بعد کی ضرورت ہو گی۔

#عمرہ کی بحالی کے بارے میں ، وزارت نے اعلان کیا کہ "COVID-19 پیشرفتوں پر مبنی کم حجاج کو‘ آہستہ آہستہ ’دوبارہ شروع کرنے کا منصوبہ جاری ہے۔
