Aziz Dheri is a stupa and settlement site in District Swabi which produces evidences from 2nd century BC to 11th century AD.

Department of Archaeology and Museums (Islamabad), Government of Pakistan has recently initiated digital documentation and digitization at the site with several other sites in its vicinity.

Pharwala Fort (near Kahuta in the Potohar plateau), established by the Ghakars, is located on the left bank of Soan river. This 11th century defensive complex has seen successive wars down from the time of Slave dynasty (11th and 12th century) to the Sikh rulers (19th century) but was never occupied for a long time by the foreign intruders. It is presently occupied by the Ghakars who inherit the fort from generations.

These are not snowflakes but the garbage and torn pieces of used plastic tape that our players roll over the tennis ball while playing cricket and the location is a playground of the most prestigious study and research institute of the country, University of Peshawar.
This was a healthy and green place a few years back when we resided for our research degree in a hostel infront of it. But now the Government is cutting funds of the universities and the administration even cannot deal with such garbage.
(You diminish investing in higher education & research, you deal with the mud for generations. An alarming situation for the Government and future of the country.)
