Van Gogh in Gdansk

After a huge success in cities around the world, such as Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Las Vegas, Dubai, Berlin or the Parisian museum "Atelier des Lumières", the time has come for great art combined with new technology to come to the Tri-City!

The world-wide, multi-sensory, extremely engaging exhibition of the greatest works of VINCENT VAN GOGH is available to viewers until March 12, 2023 at AMBER EXPO, Hall C (ul. Żaglowa 11)

The Van Gogh Multi-Sensory Exhibition is the most innovative form of experiencing art! The works of the famous artist are presented thanks to the Digital Art 360 technology, which takes the viewers into the amazing world of the great master's imagination. In a specially arranged exhibition space on screens with an area of over 2000 m2, you can see hundreds of works and literally immerse yourself in the world of images. All of the artist's works are in large-format, vibrantly colored canvases. The walls around and the floor transform into a fascinating story about the life and work of the painter.
The exhibition program also focuses on Van Gogh's letters to his brother Theo. The brothers' correspondence became important as Vincent's painting. In the letters, he reflected his views on the world and himself. Its content allows us to learn more about his life from the original source. The letters are undoubtedly a testament to Vincent's literary talent.

The the exhibition was enhanced with atmospheric, properly selected music and the voice of actor Robert Gulaczyk, who played the role of Van Gogh in the well-known film "Loving Vincent" from 2017. All this introduces us to the inner world of Van Gogh and perfects the impression of modern communing with art, allows us to appreciate the intricate painting style of Van Gogh and move with him to the Netherlands, Paris, Arles, Saint-Rémy de Provence and Auvers-sur-Oise where his greatest masterpieces.

The final of the Volleyball League of Nations 2023 in Gdansk
The final tournament of the Volleyball Nations League 2023 will take place in July next year at the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk. The tournament will take place from July 19-23.
Gdańsk was previously the host of one of the tournaments of the main phase of this year's edition of the Volleyball League of Nations, as well as e.g. matches of last year's European Volleyball Championships.

Sopot is well known as a sunny seaside town with a beautiful beach and the longest wooden pier in Europe. However, you can go skiing in Sopot. Łysa Góra ski resort, located on the edge of Sopot, offers beautiful views, a ski lift, and great terrain for skiing and snowboarding. There are 0.3 km slopes available, perfect for beginners and families. The altitude at the top is only 100m above sea level.
You can visit Aqua Park, with a warm pool. Again great for kids. Besides the leisure pools, Aquapark also operates The Sauna World.
You can also go clubbing. Sopot is the nightlife capital of Tri-City. There are many nightclubs in downtown Sopot about 9 of them located around the main street - Monte Cassino. You will have to pay a cover charge to get into some of them.
