The sustainable 6 ha estate is located in the South-West country side of the Algarve, close to the lively harbour town of Lagos en 1,5 km from the beach of Meia Praia bay. As the accommodation is built on a hilltop, there are magnificent views of the rural country. The authentic and personal character of the place creates an open and relaxed atmosphere. Guests can freely explore the grounds, dream away in a hammock or take a dive in the large swimming pool. The Quinta can host around 18 people. A Vivenda sleeps 2-6 A Granja sleeps 2-4. The Loft Apartment sleeps 2-5. The Loft tower bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The Chapel Suite sleeps 2. The Chapel room sleeps 2. All units can be used separately, in combination with another unit or as a whole. In particular the West Wing (Loft Apartment, Chapel Suite and Chapel Room) is very suitable for small groups and/or family gatherings. The building is multifunctional and can be used as a whole or as separate units. It hosts guests that need a holiday or break, that want to do workshops, art in residence etc. In order to support the liberal arts, spiritual development and personal growth, all units at the Quinta will be available at special, strongly reduced low season rates from November to April. This can be for workshops, retreats, writing, composing, music, painting, sculpting etc. etc. There is a large, ‘lagoony’ swimming pool, with a shallow part and little waterfall that creates a relaxing, splattering sound while you’re dozing away on your sun bed or in your hammock. There is an huge bread oven that occasionally will be used to organize a pizza gathering, to bake bread or any other traditional food. The closest authentic Portuguese village, Odiáxere has a small daily vegetable and fish market, a traditional bakery (wood oven), several shops, cafes and restaurants.
