“Matilde is a superb host! Super warm, friendly welcome with an abundance of tips to enjoy your time in the city. The apartment is perfectly located to explore Lisbon on foot. We didn’t have a single noise issue - brought ear plugs just to make sure but never used them; fully close the window facing the main street and you’ll be right as rain! The apartment has everything you want when travelling as a couple: practical bathroom/kitchen areas; good bed; and a great balcony to enjoy the evening buzz on your own! Definitely recommending this place to family and friends!”

“This cute and stylish little apartment is located ins the centre of Bairro Alto. We were pepared that it might be noisy at night. With Oropax it’s totally fine. You will find everything you need for a pleasent stay and Matilde has set up everything with love and an eye for details. The only thing we were a little disappointed of is the bathroom. It would be great to have a shower curtain that keeps the water in the shower. If you love a stylish cosy place that offers you a lots of possibilities regarding restaurants and bars and that is located perfectly to explore the city...this is your place!”

“We were very well welcomed by a friend of Matilde who helped us from the metro to the flat adress, and gived us all kind of advice for our journey. The appartement of Matilde was very well located, we didn’t even had to take transport a lot to feel the spirit of Lisboa and go to the places we wanted to see. The flat was clean and spacious, and well organised and everything was ok, just be prepared to ear a lot from the street at night but that’s nothing if you are going to enjoy the night life too. The only thing complicated was to take a shower, we had to take an extra towel to make sure we didn’t wet all the bathroom. Matilde’s place is a good way to enjoy your trip in this city and you will very feel confortable.”

The apartment is very well located in one of the trendiest neighborhoods of Lisbon. The space has been almost completely renovated and has all the facilities so you can enjoy a great stay in this beautiful and really special city!

It's a beautiful flat in one the most vibrant areas in Lisbon, Bairro Alto.
I'm an architect working in London for a well known architecture practice. I was born and raised in Lisbon, my parents live only a few blocks a way. I always wanted to buy a place in the area where I grew up and so I did! I travel quite a lot for work so I am doing short rentals in between.
You will be staying in this cozy double-bedroom apart, there's also a sofa bed that sleeps another 1-2 guests.

This lovely apartment, is located in one of the traditional residential streets of Bairro Alto (Upper District) - Rua da Atalaia, and really close to most downtown attractions.
The flat was recently renovated, making it incredibly comfortable and stylish while maintaining the original charm and character of the old town.

The living room features the main window that creates a focal point, bringing plenty of natural light and adding depth to the space.

The kitchen is fully equipped and tends to all needs. It includes a coffee machine, microwave, toaster, an electrical cooktop.

The bedroom comes with a comfy double-bed and mattress, a beautiful solid oak desk and bed side table and a clothe rack for storage. The design was kept simple and the room decorated with the least number of things, to preserve that natural bedroom related feeling.

All of the furniture meets the quality living standards and it is a great home for any one who wants to stay somewhere affordable without compromising when it comes to comfort.
