Our stay at Pearl Beach Gili Asahan was calm and relaxing. It felt like time has stopped there. On top of that we woke up every morning to watch the sunrise. Can you imagine waking up so early? We were rewarded with beautiful colors and flowers 😍

😋Unveiling Culinary Wonders: Top 4 places to eat in Kuta Lombok island Indonesia 🇮🇩 (in pictures)

Number 1️⃣ SIWA Resorts, Lombok 4.5⭐️ 20 € Per Pax

Wonderful place to watch sunset to have dinner. Hotel provides free two way transportation to Kuta, which is very helpful since it’s some distance away on a hill. But this also allows for really superb views. Food was great with Dj performance, all amazing!

Number 2️⃣ Jiang Nan Lombok
4.7⭐️ 13€ per pax

While there is no competition for Chinese food in the area, but Jiang Nan still puts in the effort to make high quality food and drinks. The Dan Dan Noodles are great, and the cocktails are varied enough to be interesting and worth trying. The decor was tasteful and not too forced, while still being Chinese art-deco themed. It’s quite open air (although technically covered) so wear bug spray if you’re prone to being bitten.

Number 3️⃣ Kenza Cafe & Restaurant
4.5⭐️ 15€ Per Pax

We enjoyed everything — coffee, desserts, dishes was delicious! All meals were served surprisingly quickly.

Nice atmosphere, good service, fair value for money. The bread here is very tasty.
The location of the road doesn’t make this place noisy (we sat outside), also you can sit inside the cafe. I’d love to come back

Number 4️⃣ Cantina Mexicana
4.8⭐️ 15€ Per Pax

This restaurant is so fun. A very nice place for dinner. Great ambiance super fast service affordable food and awesome memories!
My margarita was served with a little watermelon popsicle. A must try when you come to lombok.

The North of Lombok is a tropical paradise. Maybe not in the classical sense but with its lush jungle and gorgeous waterfalls instead. If you’re looking for a place to stay we recommend . It’s so serene and calm. The garden is full of all types of flowers. It feels so alive. There are several pools where you can refresh yourself after your daily activities. In the next post we’ll show you the waterfalls we visited. In the meantime tell us if you’d visit the North of Lombok?

There are several pink beaches in Lombok. But the truth is they’re not very pink. It’s during a certain time of the day, tide and light. Here’re our tips on how to visit them.
Don’t drive yourself there. It’s very tiring and unrewarding. Take a boat instead. The boat includes a snorkelling excursion. The corals are healthy and colourful. But back to the pink beach. Try to go there on a lower tide, when you look at the wet sand it will be more pink than the dry one. Most importantly go with an open mind to the beauty of nature instead of certain expectations you had because you saw a picture on Instagram. That’s it :)

Sunrise walks in paradise. The sun was rising just in front of our bungalow. We watched every single one of the sunrises - 3 in total. Waking up early was rewarded.
