Here you will meet your knowledgeable and friendly guide, who will lead you out on an easy paced walk to see the best of Lisbon! They will take you to taste the most delectable treat in Baixa: Pastel de Nata. This is a type of custard tart that is a typical local dish. Make sure you take note of the unique earthquake resistant construction that is common in Baxia. You will walk and experience the sites of Rossio Square - the main square since the Middle Ages, along with both Figueira and Restauradores squares, then find yourself in Carmo and Chiado neighborhoods. Elegant and trendy, Chiado is a traditional shopping area for visitors and locals alike. Cafes, Shops, Bars, Theaters, Restaurants, Bookshops and Museums abound in this cosmopolitan section of the city. Keep your eyes open for beautiful facades! Your guide will then help you board the vintage tram to take you to your final destination, Alfama.
