"The Nazaré Canyon is an undersea canyon just off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal . It is the largest submarine canyon in Europe reaching depths of about 5,000 metres (16,000 ft) deep and a length of about 230 kilometres (140 miles).
One of the most distinct features of this canyon is the high breaking waves it forms,reaching more then 30meters ( 100 Ft )
This makes Nazaré, specifically Praia do Norte, a hotspot for GIANT WAVES SURFING."

The origin of the castle of Tomar and the Convento de Cristo is closely linked to the beginnings of the kingdom of Portugal.
The Knights Templar came to Portugal in 1128. In this region they founded the Castle and Vila de Tomar. In 1312, following the persecutions against the Templars perpetrated by Philip IV, King of France, the Order was extinguished by Pope Clement V.
However, D. Diniz , king of Portugal, manages to keep the Knights and the goods of the Templars, under the name of Knights of the Order of Christ.

The Palace Hotel do Bussaco is a fairy tale castle in the middle of an enchanted forest, offering you the unique experience of staying in a real royal palace, considered, since 1917, as one of the most beautiful, romantic and historic hotels in the world.

The palace was built in 1888 for the last kings of Portugal, and is located two hours from Lisbon and one from Porto, inside the Mata Nacional do Bussaco, a botanical ex-libris and native of Portugal.

A unique example of medieval royal palaces in Portugal, the Palácio Nacional de Sintra is an ex-libris of the villa.
Sintra was a place of choice for the Portuguese monarchy, although the palace we see today is due to the initiative of King João I, who rebuilt it, and King Manuel I, who enriched it and added a wing.
The decoration is of great value, combining various artistic styles to the taste of the kings who lived here, and was adopted to give the name to the various rooms. The Sala dos Cisnes, Sala dos Brasões, Sala das Pegas and the Chapel stand out.

Exemplo único dos paços reais medievais em Portugal, o Palácio Nacional de Sintra é um ex-libris da villa.
Sintra foi um local de eleição da monarquia Portuguesa, embora o palácio que vemos actualmente se deva à iniciativa de D. João I, que o reconstruiu, e de D. Manuel I, que o enriqueceu e acrescentou uma ala.
