"Casa do Serrador" Is a recuperated old Portuguese house situated in a quiet area north of the historical town of Tomar in Central Portugal. The price for 1 week is €415 for a maximum of 5 people. A babybed can be made available too. The house lay out:
- living room with kitchen
- 2 large bedrooms, the downstairs bedroom has a big double bed. The upstairs bedroom with a separate entrance has a big

double bed and a single bed.
- 2 bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet
- terraces at the front and the back of the house and at the upstairs bedroom. Each with a table and chairs. The land that comes with the house is about 1,5 acres and has lots of fruit trees, like orange, fig, walnut and olive. It is a place with plenty of privacy and the peace and quiet of this rural area. The local supermarket and café are only an 8 minute walk away. Things to discover
- historical town of Tomar with the famous "Convento do Cristo"
- Lisbon is easy to reach by car or by train from Tomar
- Porto with its famous Port wines
- Coimbra with a beautiful old city centre and university
- Fátima, the famous place of pilgrimage
- Nazaré at the Atlantic Coast, with impressive surfing
- nature parks Serra da Estrela and Serra de Aire
- many old walking paths in the beautiful area around the house.

Our Story

Casa do Serrador is a lovely restored old house in central Portugal near the historical town of Tomar. The house is suitable for 4 people with a weekly price of €315,-- per week. It has enough space for 2 families, with - a living with an open kitchen with a comfy couch and big fridge/freezer, - 2 large bedrooms with double beds - 2 bathrooms with showers, washbasin and toilet - 2 terraces at the front and the back of the house.

You can enjoy the peace and quite rural Portugal whether it is on the land that belongs to the house or in the area surrounding it. The grounds that belong the house are aprox. 1,5 hectare and contain old olive trees, orange trees, grapes, figs and walnuts. This place is perfect if you like the simple life in a peaceful and quite area, but want to visit historical and interesting places too. Walking and and swimming The surrounding hills are perfect for short and long walks. And for the warm summerdays there are lots of natural riverbeaches to have a swim.

Shop nearby It’s a 10 minute walk to the village of Vales where you will find a small supermarket, a café, cash machine and a gas station
