Probably the best achievement in these years of being a tour guide is the thousands of friends i made. But when one of your guests thinks of you and sends a postcard, moreover, made from a photo taken on your tour... what a nice feeling!

In perioada 10-13.09.2016 am avut onoarea de a insoti un grup de 12 ziaristi din Turcia, intr-un tur de informare si documentare prin tara noastra, organizat la initiativa partenerilor de la Pronto Tours.

Pe parcursul celor patru zile de sedere in Romania, pe langa minunatiile cu care ne-a binecuvantat natura, au avut timpul si interesul sa viziteze repere turistice ale tarii, precum Palatul Parlamentului, Castelul Peles, Manastirea Sinaia, Castelul Bran, etc. De asemenea au gustat din bucate traditionale romanesti (unii au mancat chiar si porc :) ), au avut contact cu obiceiuri, traditii de la noi si au "intrat" in spiritul poporului roman.

D**a patru zile au plecat incantati si manifestand interes deshis de a se reintoarce si vizita si alte locuri.

Apoi, au ajuns acasa si s-au apucat sa faca ce stiu mai bine: sa scrie articole legate de experienta prin care au trecut... Astfel, in cateva din cele mai mari publicatii din Turcia (ziare dar si in mediul online) a aparut o serie de articole-recenzie legate de tara noastra. Fiecare dintre ei a scris pe aria sa de expertiza. Si vor urma si alte articole, cu unii dintre ei tin legatura pentru lamuriri suplimentare legat de ce au vazut.

Chiar daca probabil nu le intelegeti, aveti mai jos cateva linkuri catre unele din articolele respective. Eu unul le-am citit cu mandrie. Sunt numai vorbe frumoase (bine, mai putin despre taximetristii din Bucuresti :) ). Numai vorbe de lauda. Chiar si din poze va puteti da seama de tonul laudativ al articolelor.

Ma bucur ca mi-am putut ajuta tara prin acest demers. Dar, pe de alta parte un ochi plange, vazand ca astfel de initiative vin de la STRAINI, nu de la autoritatile noastre, care dorm pe ei in izmene (scuzati franceza)...

During our visits to Bran Castle, i present to our guests the truth behind the legend of Dracula. Vlad Tepes, the historical figure behind the vampire character is one of Vallachia`s most beloved rulers.
For further information about Vlad The Impaler, you can watch a movie shot in the late 1970`s, depicting his figure. From a historical point of view might not be 100% accurate (but close enough to that), might be a little "romanced", but still it`s a very interesting film.
