The history of this dish has 2 directions: one says that the dish was created for Sultan Murad IV (1612-1640) and the second one says that the same dish was served for Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III, in Sultan Abdülaziz's Beylerbeyi Palace in 1869.
What we do know for sure is that we loved this dish and we can only wait to eat it again.
