The somber news from Moscow will undoubtedly reverberate throughout the entire industry. In Russia, regulations governing tours have historically been lax. While certain sites, such as the Kremlin, mandated proper licenses for conducting tours, and places like the Tretyakov Gallery prohibited guided tours even for personal acquaintances, the broader landscape remained largely unregulated. I myself orchestrated a series of adventure tours, and although safety remained paramount in my considerations, formal guidelines and requisites were conspicuously absent.

Time for the GOLD mining. Amazing experience, amazing nature, great experience. The main treasure we found was Stephen, owner of the claim at the Wild Horse creek. We was kind to let us pan gold in his land, gave us a lesson and told us better understanding of the history of the place.

I decided to return a bit of life to the page. Unfortunately, COVID is going on and I could not boast that we have a lot of tourists. So, instead, here are a few Russian views. This is a very typical district, you can find it in the most of Russian towns and cities. Not good, not terrible.

Here is one picture, for others - follow the link.

Winter in the Russian countryside... several days ago we have a hard snowfall. Yeah, we used to have snow in winter, but it's still a disaster to have +50 cm more for several days :)

Today I was flying Mavic to catch the magnificent picture (while Tony was working hard to make our banya accessible not only by helicopters!)

It's amazing how fast the world is changing. 20 years ago most of us were living without cell phones, about 10 years ago we were using cameras to take photos. Today we have smartphones with perfect cameras and use them to control drones. Waiting for the future with anticipation.

Here are some pictures of Russian nature, taken a few days ago.

Gooood neeews, everyone! Despite all this pandemic problems, it seems that soon we will participate in the next Chukhloma Offroad Festival in Russia!

We will start from Moscow and drive 500 km to the middle of nowhere to explore the abandoned countryside with more than 200 crews of other jeepers!

It's not the competition! During several days people try to get to the farest and less explored villages that were flourishing 100 years ago and now are mostly abandoned.

This fun video is my favorite! It's about epic offroading on BIG WHEELS, the craziest part of the trip!

It was a great day! We continue building our medieval tower from rocks (which is not easy in the country of forests... All rocks are ancient moraine and came from glaciers thousands years ago). We also run abput 10 km every two days and dig a lot! It seems we will be athlets after the season in the rural Russia!

This week was rainy. We finally made a break in all our garden activities. It was also a week of quick increase of coronavirus cases in Russia... we finally have about 50 000 of affected people (about 30 000 in Moscow). It seems that even coronaskeptics started to feel nervous about it.

We can hardly imagine how we could live in self-isolation in Moscow for such a long time... here we see the nature blooming every day! The spring has came and the grass started to grow. Tony is waiting for the birch with his allergy... I'm just enjoying the sun, walking and running (up to 10 km that is a looot for me!)

Good night everyone.

We are keeping our self-isolation in the small Russian village. To be honest this is an amazing experience! I could not say that this is the way of life that I dreamed about, but for these days it perfect.

We love to travel, we already did two big journeys, to South-east Asia for 2 months and to Europe and Marocco for 3 months. Our next dream was to drive our own car to Africa. We were planning this trip, talking about it, dreaming about exploring the new continent, but...

CV appeared a the beginning of the year and at February we realized that this summer we will have fewer customers. Haha, optimists. At the beginning of March, we realized that this is much more serious. At the middle of March, we decided to move out of Moscow. Now it's April and we believe that this summer we will spend here.

The most amazing discovery is that living in the village is the same journey as driving to Spain. An absolutely different way of life, people are different from Moscow, living in a wooden house is very different from living in a concrete block house. You don't need to go far away to open the new world.

When we moved to the countryside to hide from coronavirus panic, we expected that we will have a lot of time for bloggin and other digital things to do. It was a big surprise that living in the rural Russia takes all your time!

Finally, we made a short but funny video about the first week in the Russian village. We are still wondering which kind of videos would be the best, so we appreciate your feedback as usual!

Today is 26th March. I’m sitting in 200 km from Moscow in the tiny village trying to remember what have happened during the last month with coronavirus in Russia.

In the end of February, we were sitting in Moscow and planning our crazy trip to Africa with Cameron. We were only a little bit nervous about corona. What could go wrong, m?

We heard some news from Italy day by day, so finally we started to suspect that something can really go wrong. One day, Tony just told me: “Khmmmm, I have a very strange idea that we need to buy some products. What to you think about it?”
Hah. It seemed that no one in Moscow believed that one day the country will meet coronavirus, too. But since we’ve been monitoring the situation for a long time, I answered: “You know, Tony, I was thinking about that, too, but were afraid to tell you”.

Then we started to watch statistics and quickly learned that almost all countries have 30% increase of people with corona after the first 100 cases. In the middle of March, the authorities reported about the first 100 cases…

Next weekend we found crowds of people in lines buying food and medicine… The panic has slowly started. Then… So I’ve already described it.

Hi everyone! We’ve started a little blog, where we will describe you our everyday life in the Russian countryside.

It all started in the beginning of March when Italy had a coronavirus outbreak, so we finally understood that it will happen in Russia one day… In the middle of the March, people in Moscow became very nervous buying tones of toilet paper and buckbeans (two basis of Russian mentality). We heard a lot of new about possible quarantine in Moscow. We also understood that our touristic business will not work at least for some time.
So what options we had?

1) Stay in Moscow. Find a job maybe… but in case of quarantine, we will be closed in our 3-bedroom apartment with two VERY active children. Crazy option.

2) Go to our dacha with all facilities. Total uncertainty. No money income! But this option encourages you DO something new: find a freelancing job, start blogging, planting potatoes, anything! Good chance?

The second day on our dacha... We've almost adapted. It would be much more relaxed but our children are crazy! It's like a Donald Duck movie. All the time they destroy something, run for each other, fall down and cry or jump on us and cry again. All the time. Disaster :) Fortunately, it's much better outside! So we started to burn our some wooden staff that were left afyer the house construction. We built the roof of the small children house. We found vodka and... It doesnt matter :) Follow us to learn how we survive in the russian countryside!

It was not an easy decision, but we moved to the countryside for at least 2 weeks. We have about 250 people with in Moscow and it seems that we will have much more in the next days. But what is the worst, the city might be under the quarantine soon, which is quite disturbing if you have 2 very active children inside your apartament!

Is there someone who decided to move to the countryside, too?

Russian Winter is a very special thing for many travelers. It's not so bad, actually! Especially in Moscow.

In this short video, we spent two hours outdoors making BBQ and snow tubing with four small children. How we survived? Easily. Vine, good company and comfortable clothes (nothing special, no valenki, no ushanka hats!)

Take a short tour into the Russian Winter! As usual, I would be very happy to find new likes :)

Have a great time during the Russian Winter is easier than it seems. Even if you have four small children with you! What you need is a tasty meat, a grill an...

I will be happy if you give me the feedback on what kind of videos would you like the most: Soviet van, travel videos, video guides or just blog stories about different sides of life in Russia? I want to include voice-over as well (not only music).

Kindly,
