Задача проекта – это создание принципиально нового интерактивного формата путешествий в пространстве и во времени для современных туристов.

В настоящее время уже действует три парка дополненной реальности Piligrim XXI. Первое было запущено прошлым летом в латвийском городке Лудза. Это полномасштабная реконструкция крепости Ливонского ордена, разрушенной еще в 17 веке. Благодаря нашей инсталляции по итогам сезона туристический поток в городе увеличился практически на 30%.
В нынешнем году мы сделали приложение «Имение Алтунъ» в Пушкинских горах. Это реконструкция архитектурного облика красивейшей дворянской усадьбы XIX века. А весной для гостей и жителей Санкт-Петербурга мы создали приложение «Крейсер Аврора», посвященное легендарному судну – одному из символов нашего города.
В настоящее время Piligrim XXI готовит несколько проектов в Европе. Один из проектов - «Крепость Бастилия». Замок будет установлен на том самом месте, где он и находился до 18 века.
Уже этим летом каждый желающий сможет не только полюбоваться величественной твердыней, но и при желании ее символически разрушить. Это будет наш подарок Парижу. В России традиционно очень любят французскую культуру, хорошо знают историю этой страны.
К слову, заказчиком приложения выступил один из отечественных бизнес-ангелов. Мы уверены, что наша «Бастилия» станет еще одной интересной достопримечательностью на богатой туристической карте Парижа.

Вопреки пандемии Цифровой парад Победы пройдет 9 мая в каждом из 1100 городов России.

Танки с красными звездами встанут торжественным строем и в европейских столицах, освобожденных Советской армией.

Более 50 тысяч квадратных метров оцифрованных территорий, подготовленных для инсталляций к 75 годовщине Великой Победы, будут переданы в дар Городам Российской Федерации.

Боевые машины появятся на центральных площадях и рядом с мемориалами Второй мировой войны при помощи технологии дополненной реальности (AR). А увидеть их можно будет, установив мобильное приложение Augmented reality Metaverse.

Виртуальные танки займут позиции в начале мая и останутся в избранных локациях навсегда. Экспозиции в дополненной реальности нельзя снести, запретить или повредить, закрасив звезды на башнях танков.

В современных непростых условиях новые технологии смогут поддержать развитие внутреннего туризма. Для этого благотворительная акция будет продолжена и после празднования Дня Победы.

Наша команда окажет поддержку туристической индустрии, предоставив бесплатно ресурсы всем, кто сможет принять участие в этой работе.

Last week for the Arcona team was full of pleasant and vibrant events.

We successfully performed at the Startup Exchange. This is a project that is being conducted by the leading Russian business publication, Delovoy Peterburg, together with the largest investment funds and companies in the North-West.

This time, the most promising companies gathered on the “exchange platform” gathered in the markets of AR / VR, neurotechnologies, creative industries and digital media.

Arcona's ideas and its opportunities for developing a real business have seriously interested venture capital fund experts and managers of large companies, including those from the development and engineering sectors.

Our project was pre-selected for the Facebook acceleration program, which starts in November in London. The Internet giant focuses on startups that create breakthrough solutions based on artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain and other advanced technologies.

On Friday, representatives of the boards of directors of the HUAWEI corporation met with the most breakthrough Petersburg start-ups at the Ingria Technopark.

Currently, Arcona is already negotiating to preinstall its user application AR Viewer on devices manufactured by HUAWEI.

The Arcona developers team keeps on working on the proprietary AR Viewer’s advancement. In order to improve the usability of the application, our team is constantly testing and implementing new algorithms of 3D objects positioning on the screens of mobile devices.

“Tracking the movement patterns of the user device is very important for precise and stable positioning”, says Alexander Emelyanov, Ph.D., R&D Team lead of Arcona. “This tracking is based on analysis of numerous images from a built-in photo-video camera. In robotics, matching of several dots with highly contrasting characteristics is sufficient for that, but when it comes to the AR systems it’s much more complicated to determine the trajectories. In the hands of the user, the motions of the device are not that smooth and can hardly be compared to those of cameras the robots are equipped with. We strive to match the images very different from each other, this process requires to be based on more than some separate dots”.

The Arcona engineers have developed an alternative algorithm of matching the images based on the analysis of the relative position of the straight lines. Unlike dots lines have a broader set of features, enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of camera trajectories determination.

Besides that, our algorithm ‘looks’ not only at the image brightness close to the line but also at its color. This increases the reliability of the images matching.

The new algorithm has successfully passed testing, we’ve had really good results. The stability and accuracy of tracking the trajectory of the user camera are much higher than similar indicators of standard algorithms. In addition, we were able to obtain more reliable matches from fewer matched lines. This saves system resources and increases performance, which means that the application will be able to work well on less powerful mobile devices.

The token ARDL (Arcona Digital Land) has confidently entrenched in the TOP 15 of most actively transacted tokens of the ERC-721 standard on Etherscan, which is the main portal for viewing of ethereum currencies statistics.

👀 The ERC-721 standard is pretty new for the Ethereum network and is designated as Non – Fungible Tokens (NFT). Such tokens are completely unique as they are backed by some asset. Through the use of cryptography, they prove authenticity as well as confirm ownership. In our case, the NFT token ARDL enshrines the digital land ownership and that’s the basis of the entire ownership system.

🌎 The Digital Land – augmented reality layer – like just real territory is divided into equal hexagonal plots. Every digitized by the system plot has its properties, and this information, including an identification number, geographical coordinates, owner data is stored in the smart contract.

This means that each plot in and out of the Arcona ecosystem has its price depending on the location, as well as on the value of AR projects implemented within the area.

Meanwhile, there is one more bunch of the digital land plots auctioning off on the Arcona marketplace and the bidding is getting its momentum 📈
